My greatest dream is to become a professional yachtsman as my father an much of my friends. It is the best feel in the world - to rule the wind, keep it in your sails, to see how sea waves brakes in front of your boat. I entered this kind of sports two years ago when my father took me on Black Sea Cup. My first race was on "GEMINI" boat.
Next year he took me as a member of crew of class "Conrad 25" yacht named "SHERIFF"
I was really happy when our yacht won this Cup. There were 5 legs:
1-st Leg --- 60 miles;
2-nd Leg --- 100 miles;
3-dr Leg --- 30 miles;
4-th Leg --- 100 miles;
5-th Leg --- 15 miles.
Of course we lost some legs but it was not hurt to us because we fought for Cup, we were gamblers. In 25ft class we had only one opponent but strong. Unfortunately I did not race in last two legs because I had to go and study in Academy. But I've been invented to award ceremony. It was the greatest holiday in my life. I was with my crew and we got 1-st place. We got a Black Sea Cup. Who won the Big Cup once - know how hard but cool to fight for another one.
This year we won small race consecrated to celebration of Neptun's Day and another one consecrated to celebration of Sea Transport Day. Next step - to win a Ukrainian Cup in July. I hope we will.
